I believe that this should be a devolved issue for the Northern Ireland Assembly to legislate on. Like you, I am concerned, as I do not see why the law there should be more liberal than in the rest of the UK. I believe that abortions should be a route available after proper medical consultation and when there is a valid reason pertaining to the woman or foetus in question. I am certainly against sex-selective abortions or those in the case of minor disabilities.
This week, I will look closely at what is being proposed and any amendments before deciding how to vote.
