Neighbourhood help around Meon Valley

While the Government is taking a number of steps nationally, a huge amount of work is going on locally to help us all get through this emergency. We are all going to have to come together to tackle this virus, particularly when it comes to protecting the vulnerable and elderly residents in our communities.

With this in mind, I am gathering a list of contacts and initiatives happening around the Meon Valley so that people can find out what support is available near them. I will be updating this list regularly. If you would like to add anything to it, please get in touch with my office at flick.drummond.mp@parliament.uk or 020 7219 8018.

Care for our most vulnerable

I will be writing to all pensioners shortly to find out what issues matter to them. However, I know that some elderly people are feeling isolated as their families live away or are working and have little time to look after them. I would like to find out how many people feel like this and what resources there are in the community already to help them. Please contact me if you do need support or know people that might need help, or if you have an organisation which will help people so I can put them in touch with you.
