This week is Armed Forces Week and I want to thank every constituent who is serving or has served in our Armed Forces. Coming from a military family, I know the sacrifices that you have made over the years but also the rewarding aspects of serving our country.

Today I spoke in the Westminster Hall Debate on Veterans UK as we mark Armed Forces Week.  I urge the Minister and Veterans UK to work closely with VAPCs who have plenty of knowledge and experience amongst their members, to work towards a more streamline system which is veteran centric.

Weekly Roundup- 9th June

As I mentioned in my last newsletter I spent 5 days on a fact-finding visit to Palestine during recess. I last went 7 years ago and things have definitely got worse. The Palestinian Authority has a weak leadership and no succession planning.
