I have been part of the Homelessness Reduction Bill in Parliament and this should help people stay in their home. I also know that there is a problem of rough sleeping in Portsmouth. There is a lot of good work going on in the city to help rough sleepers but there is some duplication and we need to make sure that it is all properly co-ordinated so people are not replicating what others are doing. I held a seminar recently which was attended by 55 people who are involved in this area and we are now moving forward looking at specific areas so we can coordinate all the good work that is going on.
